Games You Should Play on Amazon.com
There’s a new feature launching today on Amazon.com called Games You Should Play. In a nutshell, members of the game industry write a short guide detailing a few of their favorite games, or games they think their fans would really enjoy. The opening lineup includes Adrian Perez from Bungie, Tim Willits from id Software, Jinx & Kat from Frag Dolls, Tycho from Penny Arcade, Stuart Moulder from WildTangent, and Brian Yeung from Flying Lab Software.
This much about the feature is clear: it was probably conceived, designed, and launched by someone incredibly handsome and intelligent. And red-headed. But who precisely that could be is hard to say.

I found it amusing that the final half or so of the id Software guy’s list was games from id Software. I guess it’s great to love what you do, and love the games you make, but it was just funny.

He’s not the only one, two of the three games Stuart Moulder recommended are games he worked on. However, the participants are given pretty much free reign in what they choose. My hope is that as this becomes popular and more people participate, they’ll loosen up a bit and get into the spirit of it.

the stunning brilliance in creating something like this is one more reason the rpgs and pencil and paper gaming stuff should be brought under the purview of the computer and video games section.

It was really cool to see some of them taking a little leap of faith out. I dug that Psychonauts was named. That game deserves all the love it can get.

You work for Amazon now? Maybe you would be a good person to ask where the fuck is my xD memory card I ordered almost a month and half ago!
Eitherway, its eh. I never take reviews to heart as my tastes generally only go so far as MMO’s and the occasional FPS title.

Still, I’d take these guys’ word over G4’s.
